Millwall Manager Harris Sees International Break as Opportunity for Recuperation

Neil Harris was reappointed Millwall manager in February this year. Millwall’s manager, Neil Harris, stated that the international break will provide a valuable opportunity for the team to rest and get ready for their upcoming Championship match against Sunderland, who are currently at the top of the league. Although Romain Esse (England Elite squad), Mihailo Ivanovic (Serbia), and George Saville (Northern Ireland) are absent due to international commitments, Harris confirmed that the remaining members of the squad would be given some time off. “Good luck to the ones representing their country, we’re very proud of them,” Harris informed BBC Radio London. He further elaborated, “For the rest of the lads it’ll be a fine balance between recuperation and game time so when we get around to Sunderland we’re at it.” Millwall holds eighth place in the Championship, having gone unbeaten in their last seven league games, which include five victories.
