Bristol City’s head coach, Liam Manning, has expressed a desire for increased goal contributions from all areas of his squad, aiming to reduce reliance solely on the team’s forwards. This season, Nahki Wells stands as the club’s top scorer with five goals. The Robins have exceeded two goals in a single match only twice during the current season. Of City’s 20 league goals, Nahki Wells and Anis Mehmeti have collectively accounted for nine. Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol, Manning stated, “It also includes the central defenders – at Burnley especially ,with the number of corners and wide free-kicks, there were some terrific deliveries but not enough chances created off the back of them.” He further identified specific players, remarking, “I’d be looking at Rob Dickie, Luke McNally, Zak Vyner and Jason Knight – who’s a real attacking threat.” Bristol City has experienced three defeats in their last four Championship fixtures and is scheduled to host Plymouth on Saturday. Manning further elaborated, “The second you’re dependent on one person to score goals, if you lose that person then you’re in a bit of trouble and everyone needs to contribute and play their part.” Post navigation Sanders Affirms St Johnstone’s Commitment to Valakari’s Vision Everton Secures French Forward Kelly Gago
