Erin Cuthbert, a forward for Scotland, has received a nomination for the 2024 Fifa Best Women’s XI. The Chelsea athlete contributed nine goals in 39 matches during the previous season, a period when the London-based club secured its fifth consecutive WSL title. Additionally, Cuthbert, aged 26, played a role in Scotland reaching the play-off final for qualification to Euro 2025. Concurrently, Elena Sadiku, the head coach of Celtic, has also been nominated for the Fifa Best Women’s Manager award. The 31-year-old coach was instrumental in leading Celtic to their inaugural SWPL title and advancing the club to the group stage in their first-ever Champions League campaign.
