QPR defender Liam Morrison, who arrived from Bayern Munich in July, participated in a friendly match against Crystal Palace with the London club’s development squad, marking a continuation of his recovery from a knee injury. The Scottish under-21 international underwent surgery in September, having previously made appearances only in QPR’s League Cup victories against Cambridge United and Luton Town during the preceding month. Morrison also made a substitute appearance for the concluding 10 minutes of the 2-0 Championship loss to Leeds last weekend, as he works towards achieving full match fitness. On Friday, the centre-back participated for 60 minutes in the friendly, which was held behind closed doors at Rangers’ TSG Training Centre and concluded with Palace securing a 2-1 victory.
