Jordan McGhee has stated that Dundee is resolute in its intention to “right the wrongs” following their subdued loss to Hearts as they prepare to face Rangers at Ibrox this Saturday. Prior to the 2-0 defeat at Tynecastle, which caused them to fall out of the top six, Tony Docherty’s team had been undefeated in three matches. The subsequent two-week period has been utilized for refocusing. Defender McGhee commented on the break, stating, “It’s been good and bad having that time off.” He added, “Obviously, we were disappointed with the last result and performance.” He further explained, “You want a game straight away, but it’s also good to get a bit more time on the training field, to get more ideas across and give the injured boys some time to try and get themselves back to help us through the winter.” McGhee continued, “Having no game last week, there was obviously a bit more pondering to do, looking at yourself, so when you cross the white line on a Saturday, you’re trying to right your wrongs.” Dundee, who previously suffered a 3-0 loss to Rangers at Hampden in September, will visit Ibrox this Saturday. This marks their initial return to the venue since May, when they relinquished a 2-0 advantage and ultimately lost 5-2. McGhee acknowledged the challenge, stating, “It’s a tough place to go and play.” He added, “Obviously, they’ve picked up a lot recently, but we’re in good form ourselves apart from the Tynecastle performance and result.” He recalled past encounters, saying, “We’ve always done not too bad down there. I remember the game last season, I scored myself, we went 2-0 up and then a couple of errors were made, but they’re always good games to play in.” Post navigation British Skeleton Athlete Matt Weston Takes Second Place in Beijing World Cup Morrison Advances Injury Recovery in Development Squad Match
