With only four fixtures remaining in the Women’s Big Bash group stage, the competition is nearing its conclusion. The top four teams will advance, with the group stage leader securing a direct spot in the final on December 1. The third and fourth-placed teams will compete in a Knockout match on November 27. The victor of this game will then face the second-placed team in the Challenger on November 29, with a place in the final at stake. Below are the upcoming matches and the qualification requirements for each of the eight teams. The remaining Women’s Big Bash fixtures are: Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Thunder (22 Nov, 23:00 GMT) Perth Scorchers v Hobart Hurricanes (23 Nov, 09:55 GMT) Melbourne Stars v Adelaide Strikers (23 Nov, 23:00 GMT) Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers (24 Nov, 09:05 GMT) Sydney Thunder, Melbourne Renegades, and Brisbane Heat have already secured their positions in the knockouts. If the Thunder defeat the Renegades, they will guarantee the top spot and automatically qualify for the final. Should the Renegades emerge victorious, they will be in a strong position, though the Heat could still overtake them, with net run-rate determining the final standings. The fourth and final knockout spot is contested between Hobart Hurricanes, Perth Scorchers, and Sydney Sixers. It is anticipated that the winner of the Hurricanes v Scorchers match will claim this spot, as the Sixers would require a significant net run-rate swing. Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars are no longer in contention for qualification.
