Torquay United has secured the services of Yeovil Town defender Jordan Thomas, who joins the club on a loan agreement set to run until the conclusion of the current season. The 23-year-old right-back initially transferred to Huish Park in July on a two-year contract, arriving from Hampton and Richmond. During his time with the Glovers, he has made five appearances. This season, Thomas also had a loan spell with Salisbury, a rival club to Torquay in the National League South. His career began in Norwich City’s youth system, where he progressed to make a single substitute appearance for the Canaries in the Premier League. Thomas’s arrival at Plainmoor marks him as the second player to transfer from Yeovil to Torquay in under a month, following his former team-mate Jordan Young. Young, a striker, made a permanent move to the Gulls at the close of last month.
