Declan McManus scored two opportunist goals, putting them two goals ahead by halftime. Barry managed to score one goal back courtesy of their skipper, Kayne McLaggon, but they were unable to secure an equaliser. Aberystwyth Town secured their spot in the final on Saturday, following a penalty shootout victory against Cardiff City Under-21s. Niall Flint converted a penalty kick five minutes prior to halftime, giving the home side the lead at Park Avenue. However, when the Seasiders seemed poised for a win, Will Spiers assisted Troy Perrett, who scored an equaliser in the last minute, forcing the match into a penalty shootout. For Aberystwyth, Jack Thorn, Harry Arnison, Jonathan Evans, and Devon Torry successfully converted their penalties, with Dave Jones also saving two penalties. In contrast, Tom Davies was the sole Bluebirds player to score from the spot. Latham Park is set to host the final on Friday, 28 February, with kick-off scheduled for 19:45 GMT.
