Super League champions Wigan Warriors, aiming for a third consecutive Grand Final victory after their 9-2 win over Hull KR in this year’s final, will commence their 2025 season with a home fixture against Leigh on Thursday, 13 February. Hull KR, who were the defeated grand finalists, are scheduled to host Castleford the subsequent evening, while newly promoted Wakefield will visit Leeds Rhinos on the Saturday. BBC Sport is set to broadcast St Helens’ home match against Salford later on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, Catalans Dragons will welcome Hull FC on Friday night, and Warrington Wolves will travel to Huddersfield for the final game of the opening weekend on Sunday, 16 February. The Magic Weekend, an event where all 12 teams compete at a single venue over one weekend, was announced earlier this week to be held at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park on 3-4 May. Wigan, who are pursuing a third successive Super League title, are also slated to play Warrington in Las Vegas on 1 March. The Easter Weekend, which historically featured teams playing twice across four days until 2022, will now host the season’s inaugural Rivals Round. These specific fixtures will be reversed for round 25 towards the conclusion of the campaign. The final round of regular season matches is scheduled for 18 to 21 September, with the elimination play-offs taking place the following weekend. The Grand Final is confirmed to be held at Old Trafford on Saturday, 11 October.
