Stoke City’s head coach, Narcis Pelach, who was appointed in September, has communicated a commitment to supporters via social media, pledging maximum effort to resume winning matches. This follows the Potters’ 2-1 loss to Luton Town on Tuesday, marking their third consecutive defeat in the Championship and extending their winless streak to six matches. In a post on X., external, Pelach stated: “Defeats hurt and late goals are hard to take, but we will find our way back.” He added, “The next few days are about giving you something to cheer at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday.” Pelach concluded by saying, “We will work as much as possible to improve and we will soon find ourselves in a good run of results.” Stoke has fallen to within four points of the Championship’s relegation zone. Their next match is on Saturday at home against Cardiff City, currently 22nd in the league, who have an opportunity to exit the bottom three on Wednesday when they play Preston.
