Striker Kevin van Veen’s temporary transfer period at St Mirren has concluded after his court appearance last week, where he faced charges of domestic abuse, as confirmed by the club. The 33-year-old did not enter a plea at Hamilton Sheriff Court concerning the accusation of “engaging in a course of behaviour which was abusive of his partner or ex-partner.” The legal proceedings have been postponed until 28 November. The Dutch forward joined the Paisley-based team in the summer on a loan agreement from FC Groningen, having previously played for Kilmarnock and Motherwell. A statement issued by the club read: “St Mirren can confirm that Kevin van Veen’s loan has ended and he will return to his parent club FC Groningen.” Post navigation Ballymena United vs. Larne Match Postponed Due to Unplayable Pitch New Dundee United Third Kit Draws Inspiration from City’s Gaming History
