Sporting Director Jon Walters Plans to Recruit International Players

Stoke City’s Sporting Director, Jon Walters, has detailed his strategies for the remainder of the Championship season, addressing topics such as Narcís Pelach, the recruitment of international players, and the January transfer window. Walters, a former forward for the Potters, rejoined the club in February as the interim Technical Director before transitioning to the full-time Sporting Director position in April. During an interview with BBC Radio Stoke, Walters conveyed his optimism regarding the club’s current trajectory. He stated, “Every player is loving it, the staff are loving it, in my eyes we are heading in the right direction.” He added, “Things are developing in the right way, we’ve lost one in the last eight, we’ve ran more than anyone in every metric across the pitch.”
