Scotland international Ben Muncaster has committed to Edinburgh for an additional two years, signing a new deal. He has played his entire club career with the team. The 23-year-old back row player has achieved five tries in six club appearances this season. His international debut occurred against Portugal during the Autumn Nations Series. Muncaster stated, “I’m incredibly proud to re-sign with Edinburgh,” adding, “It was a no-brainer.” He continued, “This is my hometown club, and I’m loving playing my rugby here under Sean Everitt. The team is playing some exciting rugby, and I’m really enjoying my own game as well.” Muncaster also expressed, “I’m excited for the future. There is plenty of room for growth and we’re moving in the right direction as a squad.” Head coach Everitt commented, “Ben is a hugely important player for this club, and we’re delighted that he has committed his future to Edinburgh.” Everitt further remarked, “He’s a powerful ball-carrier, a strong defender, and a real competitor. Securing the services of one of Scotland’s best young back-rowers is a major boost for the club.”
