Plymouth Argyle’s highly-regarded forward, Morgan Whittaker, is expected to be out for the remainder of the year due to a foot injury. Whittaker, who was the team’s leading scorer last season, sustained the injury during the second half of last month’s 2-2 draw against Luton Town, forcing him to leave the field. The 23-year-old had been recognized for his performance by being included in last season’s Championship team of the season and attracted an offer from Italian club Lazio in January of the previous year. His absence means he is the most recent Argyle player to be sidelined until 2025, joining Muhamed Tijani, Ibrahim Cissoko, and Joe Edwards. In contrast, Argyle manager Wayne Rooney has received positive news regarding the availability of Northern Ireland goalkeeper Conor Hazard, who has recovered from an ankle injury that had sidelined him since early September. Additionally, defender Brendan Galloway might also make a return. Rooney stated, “The important thing come January is we get those players back fit; really, that’ll be like new signings in my opinion because they’re key players.” He added, “Then on top of that, if we can bring players in, we will do.” Post navigation Celtic-Newcastle Friendly Rumored; Captain McGregor Reaches Milestone Northampton Town Football Club’s Charity Arm Receives Children in Need Grant
