Nuno Espirito Santo, manager of Nottingham Forest, has stated that the difficulties encountered by the club during his initial year in charge have served to enhance the team’s resilience. Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham, he remarked, “We started in a very tough situation but I think we were able to do well and face so many obstacles that we had.” He added that this was “Always with the sense of togetherness, trying to be together and overcome this.” Santo further explained that these experiences “helped us be more united and more resilient, knowing that tough moments only makes us stronger but now is good and we don’t even remember anymore.” He emphasized his consistent belief that “the best thing we did – and we are taking advantage now – was to retain the main core of the squad.” Following the conclusion of the season’s final match against Burnley, a discussion took place. Despite numerous issues, this conversation occurred without discord, with an understanding that everyone “should and must help.” Santo concluded, “That was the beginning of something we now want to improve on and grow. The players are different now.” Post navigation Ruud van Nistelrooy Departs Manchester United Coaching Role McGlynn Secures National Cross Country Title as Griggs Finishes Seventh
