Portsmouth midfielder Owen Moxon expressed his conviction that the team ought to have secured a full three points in their Championship fixture against Norwich City on Tuesday night. The match, held at Fratton Park, concluded in a goalless draw, a result that nonetheless propelled Pompey beyond the relegation zone based on goal difference. Speaking to BBC Radio Solent, Moxon stated, “It’s a good point in the grand scheme of things but I would have liked to have taken all three and I think on the pitch we deserved that.” He further elaborated on the game’s nature, adding, “It was a bit of a scrappy game at times with some of the wind still left over from the weekend – we’re pleased with the point but we deserved three.” This game marked Moxon’s inaugural start of the current season, following his previous seven appearances as a substitute.
