Neil Harris, the manager of Millwall, has stated that his team’s defensive framework is a significant factor in their recent run of victories. The club secured its fourth consecutive 1-0 triumph on Wednesday evening against Leeds. Speaking to BBC Radio London, Harris commented, “That’s a brilliant result for us, we knew the intensity was going to be higher than against Burnley on Sunday.” He added, “For us it’s about discipline, being as organised and structured as we can be and then finding a way to score at the other end. I’m very proud of the players this evening.” This sequence of four consecutive wins has propelled Millwall from 21st position to fifth place in the Championship standings, prior to their match against Stoke on Saturday. Harris further remarked, “It just shows what momentum can give you, what a top culture can give you and identifying what our strengths are as a team and a club.”
