Pedro Martinez Losa has been appointed as the manager of the Mexican club Tigres Femenil, a move that comes merely one week after his dismissal from the Scotland national team. The 48-year-old Spanish coach’s departure from Scotland followed a play-off loss to Finland, which resulted in Scotland failing to qualify for Euro 2025. This marked the second occasion under Martinez Losa’s leadership that the team did not succeed in reaching a major tournament. Tigres currently holds the second position in Mexico’s premier football league, which is scheduled to resume its season next month. Pedro Martinez’s first game in charge is scheduled for 7 January, facing Tijuana.
