Following Fulham’s draw against Arsenal, Marco Silva spoke to BBC Sport, stating, “I’m more pleased with the way our players fought, the commitment, the organisation.” Silva remarked that playing against Arsenal is consistently challenging, but he believes Arsenal also finds it tough, with Fulham creating “a difficult scenario for them.” He candidly admitted, “We have to be honest and fair. On the ball it was one of the games we had less time on the ball.” Despite this, Fulham managed to score “a very good goal.” Silva added that the second half proved more arduous due to the team having “less energy.” Describing Arsenal’s equalizer, Silva called it “a really tight goal” and commended his players for being “brave enough.” He noted that Arsenal gained “much more control” in the second half but did not generate “big chances.” Silva acknowledged that, “Performance-wise it wasn’t the best game from ourselves.” He particularly praised Fulham’s goal, exclaiming, “What a goal, what a move and what a finish.” Reflecting on a demanding schedule, Silva highlighted, “It’s been a tough week. In eight days we played Tottenham, Brighton and Arsenal.” He expressed pride in his team’s efforts, stating, “They’ve been great. The momentum is here for us. We have to be proud of the season so far.” Sandi Toksvig is joined by Gyles Brandreth, Lulu, Emmanuel Sonubi and Alan Davies Grab the mic for Queen, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry and more… Ben Fogle and Kate Humble are back for the festivities at Longleat Safari Park From micro plastics in our air, soil, and waterways, to the extent of food waste at this time of year © 2024 BBC.
