A comprehensive survey indicates that most Manchester United supporters would rather the club construct a new venue than renovate its existing Old Trafford ground. According to an announcement from the club, initial fan consultation results reveal that 90% of supporters view positively the objective of creating a world-class stadium as part of a broader regeneration initiative spanning a larger region. Nevertheless, 52% of the survey’s participants, numbering more than 50,000 fans, expressed a preference for the club relocating to a newly constructed stadium. In contrast, approximately 31% desired the redevelopment of the club’s present home, with 17% remaining undecided.
