Leeds Rhinos Appoint Jamie Langley as Assistant Coach

Leeds Rhinos have named Jamie Langley, formerly the defence coach for Sale Sharks, as an assistant to head coach Brad Arthur. Langley, aged 40, previously played rugby league for teams including Bradford, Hull KR, and Sheffield Eagles. His coaching career began with the London Broncos before he transitioned to rugby union, joining Sale’s staff during the 2021-22 season. Langley expressed his enthusiasm for the move, stating, “I am really looking forward to coming back to rugby league after a very enjoyable time with Sale Sharks,” he told the club website. “It was a great experience, and I had the opportunity to work with world class players and coaches as well.” He added, “Now felt like the right time to come back to rugby league as it was an unbelievable opportunity to come to a club like Leeds.”
