Knee Surgery Sidelines Dragons Captain Ben Carter Until Early Next Year

Dragons captain Ben Carter, who assumed the captaincy from Steff Hughes, has undergone knee surgery and is expected to be unavailable until early next year. The 23-year-old Carter sustained the injury to his left knee during a training session with Wales towards the end of October. As a lock forward, he is anticipated to miss the upcoming two months, with a potential return in February. Interim Dragons head coach Filo Tiatia stated, “We are pleased that surgery was a complete success for Ben, and he has now started his journey to recovery with our medical and support staff.” Tiatia added, “Ben has our full support and very best wishes, and we will look forward to his return next year.”
