Justin Kluivert, who scored a hat-trick, shared his thoughts with Premier League Productions after the team’s victory. Regarding his achievement as the first player to convert three penalties in a single Premier League match, Kluivert stated: “That sounds beautiful, to go in the history books. That is amazing. I’m super happy with it.” Kluivert elaborated on his penalty-taking strategy, explaining: “I train them [the penalties]. We have a great goalkeeper, Kepa [Arrizabalaga]. We try some stuff. “The first one, I stop and look at the keeper, what is he doing? I switched it up for the second one. Then the third one, he doesn’t know what I’m going to do. I waited and he chose for me. Easy as that.”” He also expressed confidence in his team’s capabilities, adding: “We have shown that we can beat a lot of teams in this league. I am happy.” When asked about the placement of the match ball, Kluivert responded: “I will put it in my daughter’s room, waiting for her to come in February, and she can see how I did it.” Kluivert also light-heartedly mentioned cutting his team-mate Milos Kerkez’s hair earlier in the week, quipping: “Yes, I’ve been cutting his hair and since then he has been contributing to goals. I’m going to up my price a little bit!” Post navigation Chris Sutton’s Premier League Match Predictions: Newcastle vs. West Ham Liverpool Manager Matt Beard Addresses Haug Injury, Goal Scoring, and Kearns Reunion
