Joe Kilshaw has netted three goals across his last two matches for Jersey Bulls. Jersey Bulls achieved their most substantial victory of the current season, overwhelming Chipstead with an 8-1 scoreline in the Combined Counties Premier South. This triumph marked their eighth consecutive win and their twelfth in 13 fixtures, extending their undefeated streak since Elliott Powell assumed the managerial role in the summer. The island team trails leaders Whyteleafe and second-ranked Redhill by nine points, holding four and three games in hand against them, respectively. Luke Watson put the Bulls ahead with a header in the eighth minute, followed by Jonny le Quesne extending their advantage four minutes subsequent to that. Le Quesne secured his second goal during first-half stoppage time, establishing a 3-0 lead by halftime, preceding a burst of three more Bulls goals within a 13-minute period in the second half. Watson successfully converted a penalty in the 58th minute, prior to Melford Simpson scoring a consolation goal for the home side shortly thereafter. Nevertheless, Joe Kilshaw increased the score to 5-1 after 63 minutes, and Kieran Lester then netted Bulls’ sixth goal with 19 minutes remaining in the match. The win was finalized by two rapid-fire goals scored with five minutes left on the clock – initially, Kilshaw capitalized on Harry Curtis’ pullback, and subsequently, Sammy Sutcliffe scored from close proximity. The Bulls last achieved a tally of eight goals in a single match when they defeated Sheerwater 8-0 in February 2022. Their most significant win on record occurred when they overcame Horsham YMCA 10-1 during their inaugural FA Cup fixture in August 2021.
