Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has identified the team’s “togetherness” as crucial to their impressive beginning to the current season. He also indicated that the squad does not consider their seventh-place standing in the Premier League table to be an overachievement. Speaking on BBC Radio Nottingham’s Shut Up And Show More Football podcast, Hudson-Odoi stated, “We can’t get distracted or big-headed about what has been happening.” He further stressed the importance of continuous effort, adding, “We have to make sure we’re pushing ourselves daily to get results because every game is important.” Hudson-Odoi conveyed high expectations for the team, remarking, “We have high expectations of ourselves because the quality we have in the squad is amazing. If we push each other every day, as players and fans, then the results will come.” He reinforced the significance of a shared mentality, saying, “There is nothing we can’t achieve together and it is very important to have that mindset.” Reflecting on the previous season, he noted, “Last season was difficult but we pushed together and got enough to stay in the Premier League. Football is not easy but that togetherness makes us stronger.” Hudson-Odoi also highlighted, “We have a good bond off the pitch.”
