Harlequins back Nick David has signed a contract extension, becoming the latest player to commit his future to The Stoop. The 26-year-old, who is versatile on the wing or at full-back, joined the London club from Worcester Warriors in 2021. Since his arrival, he has accumulated 60 appearances for Harlequins, scoring 14 tries. This season, David has featured in eight matches across all competitions. He is the eighth player in recent weeks to agree to a new deal with the club. Other players who have also signed new contracts include vice-captain Cadan Murley, Will Porter, Cassius Cleaves, Tyrone Green, Will Evans, Will Hobson, Sam Riley, and former captain Stephan Lewies. David expressed his enthusiasm for the extension, stating, “I’m absolutely ecstatic to extend my time at Harlequins – it’s my home. There is a great group of lads and coaches here, and the way we want to play suits my attributes. My time here has gone quite quickly – I’ve been here for four seasons now. Learning from not just the quality coaches here but the players we have too has really accelerated my game and I’m excited to see what the future brings.” The club has not disclosed the specific length of David’s new contract. Harlequins currently sit seventh in the Premiership table, having secured three wins from their opening seven games. The team is set to begin their European Champions Cup campaign this Saturday against Racing 92. Post navigation Celtic and Dundee: Squad Updates Motherwell and Kilmarnock: Latest Team News
