Peter Wall, a former captain for Crystal Palace, has passed away at the age of 80. As a defender for the south London club, he made 208 appearances across eight seasons, scoring four goals. His career also included spells at Shrewsbury Town, Wrexham, and Liverpool before he concluded his playing career in the United States, where he subsequently became a manager.
