Philippe Clement, manager of Rangers, declared that his squad intends to “throw everything” at Dundee United during their upcoming match at Ibrox on Saturday. Dundee United currently trails third-place Rangers by a mere three points, having played one additional game. Jim Goodwin, manager of United, stated on Thursday that he is formulating a game plan designed to “create nervous tension” at Ibrox; however, Clement expressed confidence that his team possesses the ability to counteract this. “I like it when other people motivate my players,” the Belgian coach remarked. He continued, “It’s a tough opponent. They have had a really good season, but we’re going to throw everything from our side to win that game.” Rangers will be without the services of Neraysho Kasanwirjo, a defender on loan from Feyenoord, who suffered what Clement described as a “longer term injury” to his knee while performing international duties for Netherlands Under-21s. Additionally, Clement commended the performance of defender John Souttar during his appearances for Scotland against Croatia and Poland. “He played two really impressive games,” Clement added, continuing, “I think everyone’s seeing he’s been making some really big steps forward the last couple of months, in every sense of football and personality.”
