Rangers manager Philippe Clement has addressed his squad regarding the atmosphere expected at Pittodrie on Wednesday evening, where midfielder Connor Barron is scheduled to play against his former club. A victory for Aberdeen would extend their lead over Rangers to nine points, and with a sold-out stadium in the Granite City, a spirited contest is widely anticipated. Clement also commended former Aberdeen midfielder Connor Barron, who transferred between the clubs this summer and is expected to encounter a hostile reception from Dons supporters. When questioned about the players’ understanding of the impending atmosphere, the Belgian coach stated, “I’ve spoken to them about some things,”. He continued, “Of course, we have one boy in the building who was there before [Barron]. “We also have several players who played there before, we have other new ones, so it’s my task to speak about circumstances and the way a team will perform, how they will against us, so yes they know.”” Regarding Barron, Clement further remarked, “I’ve worked with a lot of young players in my career as a player and as a manager.” He described Barron as, “He is one of the most mature that I’ve met at that age.” Clement expressed confidence, stating, “It will be the first time for him like that [playing against Aberdeen] but I’m sure he is ready for that and he is just focused on football. “That is one of his strong points also, he is only busy with football and with his ambitions to become better and become better for this club, so I don’t have any doubts about that.”” Given the possibility for Aberdeen to widen their lead over Rangers with a victory, Clement emphasized that this match holds equal importance to any other for his team to secure a win. He further stated, “We have to win every game. We have to win the first game of the season and we have to win the last game, so there is no difference in that, we always want to win every game.” Concluding, he remarked, “So it’s going to be a huge battle.” Post navigation Kevin Nolan Prioritizes Training Over Family Dinner Following Northampton Town Appointment Swansea Coach Williams Acknowledges Rival Interest Amidst Club’s Efforts to Retain Cabango and Darling
