Chris Sutton, who provides predictions for all 380 Premier League matches this season alongside various guests, will be joined by Dougie Payne, the bassist for the rock band Travis, for Week 15’s predictions. Sutton’s forecast for the match is a 1-2 scoreline. Ipswich recently faced Crystal Palace at home in a significant match, but they were unsuccessful. Sutton noted that Kieran McKenna’s team has been challenging his predictions, stating, “Kieran McKenna’s side are killing me in my predictions.” He described them as a team that “are always in games, but they have a little bit of softness about them that means they are not winning when I expect them to.” Sutton anticipates a similar outcome for the upcoming game. While acknowledging the positive sight of “sell-out crowds again at Portman Road after the club spent years in the wilderness,” he also pointed out that “there is a reason they are still yet to win at home.” Conversely, Bournemouth has experienced a strong week, having “absolutely battering Wolves” followed by a victory against Tottenham. Sutton indicated that he has “been backing Ipswich blindly but maybe I have to stop doing that now.” He suggested that while Ipswich “really need to recover after their result against Palace and maybe they can scramble something here,” he personally “can’t see it.” Payne’s prediction for the match is a 1-1 draw. Payne expressed his enjoyment in watching “The Tractor Boys” (Ipswich), but also conveyed concern for them. He noted Bournemouth’s recent “excellent results” and predicted that “this one will be quite tight.”
