Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca commented on the travelling supporters singing “we’ve got our Chelsea back” during the team’s 5-1 win at Southampton. He described the experience as “a very good feeling, especially because you can see that they are happy, that is our target.” Maresca further stated, “We work every day to keep them happy and tonight was a very good feeling, especially the one that they can see that Chelsea’s back. This is an important thing.” Regarding the match performance, Maresca expressed satisfaction with the five goals scored. However, he noted his displeasure with the initial “15-20 minutes, where we struggled.” He attributed this early difficulty to the team’s failure to execute their prepared man-to-man pressing strategy during that period. Maresca concluded, “We adjusted that and the game was much better. For sure we could score more but five goals – they are enough.”
