Hull’s strong recent form continues after securing her first title in two years at the Aramco Team Series event in Riyadh at the beginning of November. Her opening round of 64, combined with her second-round performance, brought her to 10 under par at the halfway mark. She is two strokes ahead of the United States’ world number one Nelly Korda, who also carded a 66. Korda is a three-time champion of the event, which honors Sweden’s 10-time major winner Annika Sorenstam. American Alexa Pano, 20, advanced into a four-way tie for third position at seven under par after delivering a 64, which stood as the day’s lowest score at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair. Pano shares the third-place tie with South Korean golfers Jin Hee Im and Mi Hyang Lee, along with Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai.
