Carrick Rangers to Integrate Four New Players in January, Including Wexford Trio

Carrick Rangers has strengthened its squad with the upcoming additions of Ethan Boyle, Reece Webb, and Cian O’Malley, all transferring from League of Ireland First Division club Wexford. This trio is scheduled to officially join the club in January. They will be accompanied by Shane Forbes, who is arriving from fellow First Division team Athlone Town. Midfielder Boyle previously captained Wexford for two seasons. His career also includes playing for Linfield, Waterford, Finn Harps, and Shamrock Rovers, having made over 200 appearances in the League of Ireland. Young full-back Webb participated in 34 matches for Wexford last season, following the start of his career at St Patrick’s Athletic. Defender O’Malley registered three goals in 25 appearances for the League of Ireland side during the previous campaign. Forward Forbes will be Stephen Baxter’s fourth signing of the winter transfer window. He was instrumental in helping Athlone reach the semi-finals of the First Division play-offs last term.
