Cardiff City has extended their winning streak to six matches across all competitions. On Sunday, November 24, The New Saints secured a 1-0 victory over Wrexham, marking their fifth league win of the season and maintaining their second-place position. Lexi Jones scored her seventh goal of the season just before half-time, securing all three points for The Saints at Park Hall. Wrexham, conversely, remains in sixth place following their fifth Adran Premier loss of the current campaign. In another fixture, Cardiff City, the reigning champions, solidified their hold on the top position by achieving a decisive 4-1 win against their local rivals, Cardiff Met. Fiona Barry opened the scoring for the Bluebirds in the middle of the first half. Following the restart, Eliza Collie and Barry each found the net, extending the visitors’ lead. India Shanahan scored for the Archers in the 60th minute, offering a glimmer of hope, but Ffion Price’s penalty sealed a comprehensive victory for the visiting team. The match between Briton Ferry and Aberystwyth Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
