Everton striker Armando Broja has expressed confidence that the team will “stick together and hopefully get more results,” despite recognizing the challenging fixtures awaiting the club before the year concludes. The Albania international will be unavailable to play against his parent club, Chelsea, this weekend when the Toffees host them on Sunday. However, he anticipates rejoining the squad for their Boxing Day away match at the Etihad against Manchester City. Everton recently secured four points from their last two matches, including a draw against Arsenal on Saturday. Speaking to the club’s official website, external, regarding the draw at the Emirates, Broja stated: “This was a great point for us. Four points in the last two games – It’s really important.” He added, “It’s only going to get harder from now, but we’re just going to stick together and hopefully get more results.” Broja, who joined Everton on a season-long loan from Chelsea during the summer, made his initial appearance for the club in their recent victory over Wolves. Reflecting on his transfer, he commented: “I’ve been at Chelsea my whole life, but I’ve gone to Everton which is a massive club.” He continued, “The expectations are high, but I like having that pressure as well because it makes me play better. I was happy to come back from my injury and had my debut last week.” The 23-year-old has entered both of his matches as a substitute. When questioned about his readiness for a starting position, he responded: “That’s obviously down to the manager. I can only train well and do the things they want from me.” Broja affirmed that when given the opportunity, he will “fight, help out the team, try to draw fouls, try to get my team up the pitch, try to do the basics of football.” He reiterated, “Obviously it’s down to the manager and what team he decides to have. I can only keep applying pressure and keep doing my part.” Post navigation Chris Wood Discusses Nottingham Forest, Career Form, and Manager Nuno Espirito Santo Sydie Peck of Sheffield United Excels in England Under-20s Debut
