Bristol Bears have finalized an agreement to acquire Tom Jordan, a versatile Scotland international, from Glasgow Warriors. Jordan is set to join the club once the current season concludes. He previously made 55 appearances for Glasgow Warriors, contributing to their United Rugby Championship victory last season. The 26-year-old player is scheduled to integrate with his new team in anticipation of the 2025-26 campaign. During Glasgow’s United Rugby Championship win last term, Jordan participated in 21 matches. Earlier this month, he made his international debut for Gregor Townsend’s side, coming on as a replacement against Fiji. Subsequently, he has started the following two autumn internationals in the full-back position. BBC Sport Scotland was the first to report that the agreement had been reached on Thursday. Jordan shared his thoughts on the move with the Bears website, stating: “I’m really excited to be joining Bristol Bears for the next chapter of my career. I’ve had an incredible few seasons with Glasgow Warriors and I’m really grateful to the club for the opportunities they have given me. I’m completely committed and focused on finishing the season on a high and giving my all for the club.” Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Jordan is eligible to represent Scotland due to residency, having initially relocated to the country to play for the Ayrshire Bulls in the Super Six, a league that has since been dissolved. Jordan, capable of playing at centre, fly-half, and full-back, joined the Warriors in 2022. He has accumulated 55 appearances for the club thus far, scoring 104 points. The duration of his contract has not been disclosed.
