Following Celtic’s 5-0 triumph against Ross County, manager Brendan Rodgers characterized the team’s display as “a complete performance.” He further noted, “I said we didn’t want to wait on the game and I thought we were outstanding on that front.” Rodgers acknowledged that Celtic could have maintained the same level of play in the second half, but he also credited Ross County for their efforts. He remarked, “In the second half we could’ve had the same, but you have to give credit to Ross County. For a complete 90 minutes, that was so good on the back of a tough Champions League game in midweek.” The manager also discussed the depth of his squad, stating that “All the guys who came in can be called starters.” He emphasized the importance of “that competition and energy because we put so much into the games.” Regarding Luke McCowan, Rodgers commented, “He’s really settled in well. He’s had to be patient. He gets his reward for how hard he works.” He further praised McCowan’s contribution, adding, “It tells you everything about him that he comes in and for 70-odd minutes he’s so good with his pressing, energy and quality.” Sandi Toksvig is joined by Gyles Brandreth, Lulu, Emmanuel Sonubi and Alan Davies Grab the mic for Queen, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry and more… Ben Fogle and Kate Humble are back for the festivities at Longleat Safari Park From micro plastics in our air, soil, and waterways, to the extent of food waste at this time of year © 2024 BBC.
