Brendan Rodgers Anticipates Inaugural Tannadice Appearance

Brendan Rodgers is looking forward to his initial visit to Tannadice, where Celtic is scheduled to play Dundee United this Sunday. Although this marks his second tenure managing the Glasgow team, Rodgers has not previously managed a match from the dugout at Tannadice. He will lead his team to Dundee with the objective of retaining their leading position in the league standings before the Christmas recess. The Celtic manager stated, “I’m really looking forward to going there.” He added, “I’ve never been to Tannadice, not faced them as a manager. But I know the history of Dundee United growing up from following Celtic, what they [United] were back then and how tough a place it was to go.” Rodgers continued, “But I expect a tough game as well. I think Jim’s [Goodwin] organised his team ever so well. They mix the game up, how they play. So we go there knowing that we have to be really good in the game and that’s what we aim to be.”
