Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta provided his post-match comments to BBC Match of the Day following the team’s recent victory. He stated, “We made it crazy. We played so well at the start of the game. We scored three early goals, then they scored one immediately after kick-off and then another one – then it was game on.” Arteta further elaborated on the team’s performance, saying, “We have to manage the game – we did that really well. The last two games were tricky and to score goals is a big one.” Regarding the team’s composition, Arteta addressed the balance of the squad: “We knew before the game that we were going to make substitutions because of the state of players, but we have to manage that.” He expressed satisfaction with certain players, noting, “Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko come in, Jorginho was excellent. I am very pleased.” Concerning the second-half strategy, Arteta revealed the instruction given to his players: “The message was to not relax and to go for more [goals].”
