The 23-year-old humorously remarked, “It is better late than never, but it is about time!” He acknowledged previous missed opportunities, stating, “I’ve had some great chances but not been able to put them away.” Gordon described his satisfaction with the moment, adding, “It was a good feeling to see it hit the net.
