Saracens full-back Alex Goode is scheduled to undergo surgery this week for a quad injury, an ailment that is expected to keep him out of play for up to three months. This injury means he will miss the upcoming return of the Premiership and the commencement of the Champions Cup next month. The 36-year-old sustained the injury during the warm-up session before the team’s narrow defeat by Leicester on 26 October. According to the club, Goode, who has participated in five Premiership matches this season, is anticipated to be sidelined for a duration of 10 to 12 weeks. Saracens are set to face their London rivals, Harlequins, this Saturday in the Premiership Rugby Cup. The Premiership league season will resume on 29 November with an away fixture against Newcastle for Saracens. Following this, their Champions Cup campaign will begin next month, featuring two group games.
