Following Bristol City’s 2-0 defeat against West Bromwich Albion, which caused the team to drop to 12th place in the league table, manager Liam Manning stated that his side must “collectively be better.” This loss marks a challenging period for the Robins, who have secured only one league win in their last seven games and are currently without a victory in four matches. Speaking to BBC Sport, Manning commented, “They were better than us in all areas. And we let in two soft goals.” He also reflected on his own role, adding, “But all of us collectively have to be better. And I look at myself in that. Did I get it right?” Manning further explained the team’s struggles, saying, “They’re very well organised but we lacked energy and aggression and didn’t have the quality to break them down.” He concluded by emphasizing the need for an immediate turnaround, stating, “And we need to respond on Boxing Day. We can’t afford to drift. We need wins.”
