Bristol City’s teenage striker, Luke Skinner, has officially signed his inaugural professional contract, coinciding with his 17th birthday. The forward, a member of the club since he was six years old, has committed to a deal extending until the summer of 2027. In 2023, Skinner was recognized as the academy’s Schoolboy of the Year, following an outstanding season with the under-15s where he netted 31 goals and provided 11 assists. During the previous season, he scored over 40 goals across various age categories, culminating in his under-21s debut in August, at which point he was still 16 years old. Brian Tinnion, Bristol City’s technical director, commented on the club’s website, stating: “We’re delighted for Luke and excited to see how he develops.” He added, “He’s one that’s been with us from a young age and continued to perform at a high level as he’s progressed through the age groups.” Post navigation Cardiff City Defeats Rivals Met, Solidifying Adran Premier Lead Reader Opinions Divided on Liverpool’s Left-Back Transfer Strategy
