An inquest into the passing of 23-year-old Kieran Le Bail, who died in June 2023 after his motorcycle collided with a signpost on the Five Mile Road in St Ouen’s Bay, Jersey, has concluded. His mother characterized her son, who lost control during a motor sport event, as “a beautiful, caring, loving person.” Among those present to hear the evidence were Mr. Le Bail’s mother and fiancée, alongside other family and friends. Following the proceedings, his mother, Anita Le Bail, stated that his absence was mourned by all who knew him. The inquest revealed that Kieran Le Bail, an officer with the Jersey Customs and Immigration Service, had maintained a lifelong enthusiasm for motorcycles. At the time of his death, he was participating in a sprint event organized by the Jersey Motorcycle & Light Car Club. Relief coroner Cyril Whelan was informed that Mr. Le Bail had lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a collision with a signpost. Investigations confirmed that his motorcycle had no underlying mechanical faults. Furthermore, the road surface had been inspected multiple times for debris and was found to be clear, with favorable weather conditions and good visibility also noted. First aid was administered to Mr. Le Bail at the scene, and testimony at the inquest indicated that an ambulance arrived promptly. Anita Le Bail, Mr. Le Bail’s mother, expressed the difficulty of attending the inquest, remarking, “It’s like living the whole day over again.” She added, “It’s so tragic that we’ve lost someone who meant so much to so many people. He was just an all-round beautiful caring, loving person.” She further conveyed her family’s desire to “carry on with the motoring side of things,” believing it would be a way of “honouring Kieran – anything to mention his name.” She concluded, “As long as his name is always out there, he’ll live on forever.” Post navigation Ineos’s Perceived Underestimation of Manchester United’s Challenges Alex Valle’s Loan Status and Other Football Transfer Updates
