Axel Disasi has no intention of departing Chelsea in January, despite receiving interest from various European clubs. The 26-year-old defender expresses contentment at Chelsea and will not seek a transfer during the upcoming window, even with reports linking him to Juventus and an unnamed German club. Furthermore, head coach Enzo Maresca is not anticipated to advocate for Disasi’s departure. This stance is influenced by the absence of Benoit Badiashile, who Maresca describes as being out for “a long time,” and Wesley Fofana, who is unavailable until early 2025. Disasi, a French international with five caps, has served as captain on five occasions and has participated in 13 matches across all competitions for Chelsea this season. He joined the club in 2023 from Monaco in a transfer valued at £38.5m.
