Brentford’s head coach, Thomas Frank, has conveyed his strong approval of summer acquisition Fabio Carvalho. During a recent press conference, Frank addressed inquiries concerning Carvalho’s father, who reportedly posted a comment on a Brentford Instagram account advocating for his son’s departure from the club. “If it was his dad [leaving the comment], I think we need to ask him,” Frank stated. “I can only say that I’m very pleased with Fabio and he’s very happy here. I speak to him every day and he’s training well.” Frank continued, “He’s in a good place. It’s just a matter of time before we see him flourish even more. He’s come into a good team who are scoring a lot of goals. I’m very pleased with him.” He further explained, “Because we are performing offensively and the players in front of him are performing well, then we don’t change. He just needs to wait for that window of injury or when we play three games in a week where he may get a start. It’s the nature of football these days.” When questioned about Carvalho’s optimal playing position, Frank elaborated: “I think he can play to the left as a winger, he can play in 10 or as one of two strikers. We’ve also got Igor Thiago and Kevin Schade on the bench. I’ve got a positive challenge.” Sandi Toksvig will be joined by Gyles Brandreth, Lulu, Emmanuel Sonubi, and Alan Davies. Audiences can sing along to tracks from Queen, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, and more. Ben Fogle and Kate Humble are scheduled to return for the festive events at Longleat Safari Park.
