Elliot Lee has stated that the Wrexham changing room stands out as the finest he has experienced throughout his professional career. The 29-year-old midfielder has been a crucial player for Phil Parkinson’s team since his transfer to the Stok Racecourse from Luton Town in the summer of 2022. Lee was instrumental in the club’s successive promotions from the National League and League Two, and Wrexham is currently a strong contender for a third consecutive promotion. He remarked, “It’s the best changing room I’ve ever been a part of.” Lee further elaborated, “The staff, players, everyone’s together, they’re just good honest people who want to work hard for each other and achieve success together.” He attributed the team’s recent achievements to this environment, stating, “That’s why we have been successful over the last couple of years.” He also commented, “When times aren’t going well, we stick together.
