The Premier League season resumes this weekend, with Tottenham Hotspur scheduled to visit current title holders Manchester City on Saturday. Following the recent announcement that manager Pep Guardiola will remain with City for an additional two years, attention turns to whether Spurs can secure a favorable outcome. According to Luke Edwards of The Telegraph, speaking on the BBC Radio 5 Live Football Daily podcast, “After the Galatasaray and Ipswich defeats, we are suddenly back to Spurs being in crisis.” He further stated, “There is a little bit of pressure building again around them and on Ange Postecoglou because of his methods.” Edwards also noted, “There are also rumours about his relationships with players and how he has supposedly fallen out with vice-captain James Maddison.” However, he added, “But you always get those stories after bad results! “I really enjoy watching Spurs because you don’t know what you are going to get. They are the most fun team to watch in the Premier League because they will always try and score goals.” He elaborated on their playing style, saying, “It can be a bit kamikaze because they take risks and leave themselves exposed, but when they get it right, they are capable of beating anyone.” Concluding his assessment, Edwards remarked, “So in that sense their unpredictability makes them weirdly beautiful.” Post navigation Sporting Confirms Manchester United’s Interest in Coach Ruben Amorim Wrexham Seeks to Advance Position in Promotion Race at Stockport
