An 18-year-old male sustained stab wounds on a bus in Birmingham’s Small Heath area during what police suspect was a mobile phone robbery. The assault took place on Friday afternoon while the teenager was traveling on the bus along Golden Hillock Road. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered paramedics attending to the victim. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he is reported to be in a stable condition with injuries that are not considered life-altering, according to the police force.
