Wynne Evans has stated his “disappointment” regarding what he describes as “lies” disseminated about him in media reports throughout his participation in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. Earlier in the series, the opera singer became embroiled in a controversy involving his dance partner, Katya Jones. Spectators observed several seemingly uncomfortable interactions between the duo, including an instance where she appeared to reject a high-five and subsequently seemed to remove his hand from her waist. The duo issued an apology after their “running joke” was met with a negative reception.
